We went to
Galeries Lafayette Haussmann store to attend
their 30-minute fashion show held every Friday at
3pm. We were a bit skeptical and wondering if a free
fashion show like this was worth trying, but in the
end it was very well organized and interesting.

Using the escalator next to Tiffany’s, we went up
to the 7th floor of the main store. The show is held
in the Salon Opera. Though we arrived 15 minutes
before it started. The salon was already almost full and people were very animated. Attend a fashion show in the capital
of fashion; of course it’s exciting… |
According to the program we got at the entrance,
there were 8 different themes in the show – Spring
Summer collection 2007: ‘JUNIORS’, ‘SHORT PANTS’,
‘YEARS OF THE BEATLES’, ‘ETHNIC MIX’, ‘GARDEN OF
EDEN’, ‘SILVER POWDER’, ‘SUMMER EVENING’ and ‘HAPPY
END.’ The brands’ name and where you can find them
in the store are written on the program.
The presenter announced the opening and the show
started! All the models perfectly clothed pass just
in front of you… The atmosphere was very exciting.

And the show finished with a beautiful wedding dress!
All the six models showed up again together to great
applause.
We were very satisfied with the show, which
displayed a different variety of clothes: ladies’
and men’s, casual and dressy! We recommend this
fashion show and assure you that you will have a
very good time.
