Negative points The bedroom is a little bit small. Hard to keep the big apartment clean with three kids.

(2007-11-01)

In the 13th district. The apartment is situated in this new area, which has been developed remarkably in recent years, where we find various cafés and restaurants as well as a national library and Bercy Village.
When Vincent found this apartment, the area was not as developed as it is now and the apartment was just attic space, which was unlivable. So, he totally remodeled it and succeeded in creating a comfortable place.

The open kitchen, just next to the entrance hall, is very large and comfortable with plenty of sunshine all day long. The very unique semicircular counter hides many bottles of juice, boxes of corn flakes, etc.

'Simple is best' is Vincent’s concept. Just a simple beige sofa and a stylish lamp create a relaxing and cozy space.

The dining room is also very simple, and it's very nice to have lunch or afternoon tea on the small balcony, as well.

One of the three kid's rooms: this one is decorated in pink. The stuffed toy is called 'Diddle', the most popular character among children in France now.

The bathroom has a nice mosaic of blue and yellow tiles. Very pretty!
A simple poster that fits well with the simple interior.

These are what Vincent calls 'Japanese steps'. Were they some kind of ninja trap long ago? Anyway, you have to be really careful...

The attics’ attic. His children asked him to keep this attic when he remodeled the apartment. It is fun for kids to move through the small rooms... It's like a game.

More attic in attics. His children requested him to keep this attic when he remodeld the apartment. It is fun to pass through small rooms for kids...it's like a game.
