This year saw the opening of an
exhibition at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs marking
the 20th anniversary of Christian Lacroix’s entry
into the fashion world. The exhibition will
introduce the changes in fashion from the 18th
century to now through a production of Lacroix. On
exhibit will be a total of 400 articles of clothing
from the museum's collection of historical clothing,
the Lacroix Haute Couture Collection, and others,
and will show the themes and techniques that he
likes and has been influenced by. Completely
different from what an ordinary curator might
design, the exhibit will be able to express the
personal opinions of Lacroix.(2008-01-09) |
