Morry’s is something a bit rare for Paris: a bagel specialty shop. In this area full of designer boutiques, a large number of fashionable Parisians find themselves crammed into this small shop when it becomes lunchtime.

For 3-6 euros per bagel you’ll be able to choose from many varieties like 47th St. (cream cheese, smoked salmon, onion), Vegetarian (spinach, avocado, tomato), Manhattan (pastrami, cheddar cheese), Grand Central (turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato), and Wall Street (cream cheese), most of which are named after places in New York. You can also choose whatever you like along with one of the many different kinds of bagels they offer (cumin, garlic, olive, tomato, sesame) and they’ll make a fresh sandwich right there for something really delicious! If you’re getting a little tired of baguette sandwiches, you should definitely drop in. Their cheesecake and tart desserts are delicious as well.
Since the interior of the shop is kind of small, on nice days you can eat out on the terrace, or even just get your food to go. By the way, the nearest station may be Ledru Rollin on line 8, but it’s also just a 5 minute walk down the Rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine from Bastille station as well.(2008-05-13)
