| This brand new museum, which opened in June 2006, focuses on the ‘primary’ arts of Oceania, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Located between the Eiffel Tower and the Alma Bridge, the museum building was designed by Jean Nouvel, as the Arab World Institute. Masks, statues, instruments, textiles and videos, 3500 items are presented to show us the historical depth of the cultures of these regions. This museum was quickly considered one of the most important Parisian museums. A long line may await you on the weekend. (2007-05-07)
