| ‘Grand Palais’ and ‘Petit Palais’ were built for the
Paris Exhibition in 1900. 100 years later, restoration works
started in 2000. ‘Petit Palais’ and its museum of Fine Arts
celebrated its re-opening on December 10, 2005. During which
time the exterior of ‘Grand Palais’ was still under
restoration. In the exhibition hall full of natural light,
you can appreciate the beautiful paintings of 18th and 19th
century, especially Monet’s ‘Sunset at Lavacour’. There is
also a Café, a restaurant, a museum shop and a library.
Don’t miss this pleasant museum if you are near Champs- |
