| The Eiffel Tower is THE ‘must-see’ monument of Paris. This iron tower was constructed for the World’s Fair Paris in 1889. Originally planned to be destroyed after the Fair, it became useful as a radio transmitter and was allowed to remain. And thankfully so, as it has since become a symbol of Paris and one of the most well known monuments in the world.

At night, more than 20,000 lights twinkle on the tower every hour until 12am. Enjoy it from Chaillot Palace on the other side of the Seine River. It’s just breathtaking!
Restaurants in the tower: ‘Le Jules Verne’ and ‘ALTITUDE95’ are also very popular. Reservations are recommended.
