This is a small hotel situated on Rue des Bernardins, which stretches off from Saint Germain Boulevard. The calm and simple interior has a real feeling of warmth that will appeal to Japanese people.

Since Rue des Bernardins connects Saint Germain Boulevard to Rue des Ecoles there is a lot of hustle and bustle as the students of Paris-Sorbonne University move back and forth, which also means there are a lot of inexpensive and simple take-out shops and restaurants in the vicinity. On the street on front of the hotel you’ll also find the French bistro, Le Pre Verre, which opened in ’07. Recently the number of select shops run by artists has increased as well. Also, less than a five minute walk from the hotel you’ll be able to see the Pantheon, where many great men are entombed.

By using the Jussieu Campus Metro to get to the school’s surrounding area you’ll have access to a general store where you’ll find some really cute stationery, a place to get some nice, simple French food, and a restaurant numbered amongst the city's BEST 10 at which you can eat the best steak in all of Paris. On Rue Monge are two of the Eric Kayser bakeries that are so popular in Japan. Regardless of which direction you walk from the hotel, within five minutes you’ll be in a charming place.

Running parallel to Rue des Ecoles is the famous Saint Germain Boulevard. With the many shops lining the street here, this is a spot that's always brimming with energy. Situated in between these two streets is the Maubert Mutualite plaza which is known to hold open-air markets in the morning. There are popular cheese shops, wine shops, bakeries, and food stands side by side, making it a lively place. It’s an area where you can fully enjoy the Parisian atmosphere.

If you cross Saint Germain Boulevard and head further north there's Notre Dame and the Musée d'Orsay, then after crossing the Seine is the Mallet district where many creators have stores. From there, while viewing the shops along Rue de Rivoli, you’ll be headed towards the Louvre and then the area around the Opera House where many department stores can be found. This makes for a perfect walking tour.
