The Hotel Ares Eiffel is a three star hotel near the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars. It is a chic hotel that underwent a complete renovation in the fall of 2007. The interior, with its fine quality bed linens, bathroom tiles, contemporary furniture, and Bang & Olufsen television, really has a charming sense of high class. All of the rooms are relatively spacious, which is rather rare for a small hotel in Paris, allowing you to have a relaxing and elegant vacation. In addition to the A/C and minibar, the entire building offers free WiFi (wireless internet), and there is even an internet connection that can be used through the TV, so the facilities will make you happy as well.
Rue de Commerce, right around the nearest Metro station, is always lively due to the many cafés and restaurants there. The Monoprix supermarkets and Zara store are also conveniently located nearby. In addition, 3 different Metro lines (6, 8, and 10) run through the La Motte Picquet Grenelle station offering direct access to Paris’s main sightseeing spots such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, the Opera House, Bastille, Saint Germain du Pres, and the Quartier Latin.
While gazing at all of the beautiful Haussmann style buildings you can cross over Champ de Mars, and if you take a relaxing stroll towards Les Invalides you soon come to the Ecole Militaire neighborhood found by Rue Cler, where open-air markets are often held. You’ll also find popular restaurants like Chez l'Ami Jean and Le Violon d'Ingres, as well as the Secco bakery. If you look towards the Eiffel Tower and Seine River from there, you’ll see the new art gallery, Musee du Quai Branly… Elegance and convenience really coexist in this area, fulfilling a great many of your Parisian yearnings.
