The Hotel Paris Louvre Opera opened in 2005, so it’s still a brand new hotel. Sitting right in the center of Opera Avenue, and less than a one minute walk from the Pyramid Metro station, one of its charms is the extremely convenient location. Opera Garnier, the Louvre, and Vandome Plaza are all a short walk away. It’s also pretty convenient that the Monoprix supermarket and the Paul bakery are very near to Pyramid station. Just a short distance from the hotel is Rue Sainte-Anne. This street is often called "Japan Street" because of its many Japanese food shops selling osozai and bentos, whose eaves all run one into the next. You’ll often see Japanese people here, and since it’s safe even at night this is an area where you can stay with total peace of mind. And a bus stop for the shuttle bus to Galeries Lafayette and the Roissy Bus to Charles de Gaulle International Airport is less than 5 minutes away on foot.

From Pyramid station you can take Line 7 on the Metro straight to Galeries Lafayette, the Louvre, Chatelet, and the Quartier Latin. It also connects to Line 14, which runs automatically and stops at Saint Lazare, Madeleine, Chatelet, and Gare de Lyon stations, so it won't be affected by the strike.

The hotel has a modern, chic interior done with a basis of beige, brown, and purple. The guest rooms, in addition to air-conditioning and a mini-bar, even feature Japanese satellite broadcasting's JSTV. All twenty rooms are furnished with a bathtub, so any Japanese guests will be pleased. And since they serve a complete, buffet-style breakfast you'll even be able to have a nice time first thing in the morning.
